Day 2 of same gender marriage in San Francisco!
City Hall is besieged by media. The protesters will be here soon – last night there were hateful people there. I am SO happy to see couples of any sort allowed to legally be together – the arguments against same sex marriage are the same tired arguments that were used against inter-racial and inter-faith marriages.
The giddy happiness of these couples is a pleasure to witness. It’s putting a whole lot of positive energy out into the world, and I think we can use that.
